Barley Creek opens Taproom Saucon in Center Valley, expands Lehigh Valley presence
Barley Creek Brewing Company & Distillery opened its Taproom Saucon in Center Valley on November 28, 2025, marking the brewery's first Lehigh Valley taproom. The new venue offers a full restaurant and bar with craft beers, canned cocktails, local wines, wood fired pizzas, burgers and pub fare, and arrives just in time for the holiday season.

Barley Creek Brewing Company & Distillery opened Taproom Saucon in Center Valley on November 28, 2025, bringing the brewery's on site taproom experience to the Lehigh Valley for the first time. Located in the Promenade Saucon Valley shopping center between Melt and Kome, the space includes a full restaurant and bar serving Barley Creek craft beers alongside canned cocktails and local wines.
The taproom menu features wood fired pizzas, burgers and classic pub fare designed to pair with the brewery's lineup. Hours are 11:01 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:01 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The timing places the opening squarely in the holiday season and aims to capture both regular evening diners and weekend shoppers at the Promenade.
The opening followed an earlier announcement in September and an unexpected delay from an originally projected October opening. CEO Stephanie Rath said the team is "beyond excited" to open for the holiday season. The move expands Barley Creek's footprint beyond its established locations and gives Center Valley a new casual dining and craft beer destination.

Practical value for visitors is immediate. The combination of a full kitchen and a bar means groups can plan meals and drinks under one roof, while the late weekend hours offer an option for post shopping gatherings. The central mall location between popular eateries makes the taproom accessible to existing Promenade foot traffic and adds variety for regular patrons of neighboring restaurants.
The community impact includes increased evening activity in the shopping center and a new outlet for local wines and canned cocktails alongside Barley Creek beers. Expect the taproom to be busy during the holiday stretch, and consider reservations for larger groups given the seasonal demand. The opening gives local beer drinkers and diners another option for dine in service and casual gatherings in Center Valley.
