Four Arrested After Shaver Lake Cabin Burglary, Authorities Say
Fresno County sheriff's deputies arrested four people after responding to a reported burglary at a Shaver Lake cabin on November 21, 2025, finding a broken window and signs the property had been entered. The arrests underscore concerns about property security in the Sierra foothills and prompt officials to ask residents for tips to help ongoing investigations.

Fresno County sheriff's deputies arrested four people late on November 21 after responding to a burglary in progress at a cabin in the Shaver Lake area, authorities reported. Deputies were called around 9 p.m. to the 41000 block of Timber Avenue, where they found a broken window and other indications the cabin had been entered.
Two suspects were discovered in a parked car near the scene, identified as Regan Musgrove, 20, and Natasha Bellamy, 20, both of Visalia. Two other suspects, Devante Valentine, 20, of Fresno, and Kayvaun Dancy, 19, of Fowler, were located hiding among nearby trees. All four were booked into the Fresno County Jail on residential burglary charges after deputies determined they were responsible for the break in.
The arrests come at a time when property owners in the Sierra foothills regularly face the challenges of securing seasonal or recreational properties. A break in at a remote cabin can strain local law enforcement resources and raise community concerns about safety and property damage. Deputies who responded to the Timber Avenue call secured the scene and completed an initial investigation before transporting the suspects for booking.
Fresno County authorities have asked anyone with additional information to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office or Valley Crime Stoppers. Providing tips can assist investigators as they build a case that will go through the county court system. The booking on residential burglary charges indicates deputies believe the incident involved unlawful entry into a dwelling, a charge that local prosecutors will review as part of charging and potential arraignment procedures.
For residents and property owners, the incident highlights the importance of visible security measures, neighborhood vigilance and timely reporting of suspicious activity. Remote cabins and vacation properties are often targeted because they may be unoccupied for stretches, and quick police notification can increase the likelihood of apprehending suspects and preserving evidence.
The sheriff’s response to the Timber Avenue call demonstrates local law enforcement capacity to respond to reports in rural areas, while also signaling the need for community cooperation. Authorities continue to solicit information from the public to strengthen the case and to deter future incidents in the Shaver Lake area and across Fresno County.
