According to the sheriff s office, one vehicle struck the other head on. A man in one of the vehicles was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of those involved have not been released, and the Perry County Coroner s Office has not issued an identification.
The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle suffered non life threatening injuries and were treated before being transported to Whitesburg ARH.
