Leadership Seminole staged its 11th Annual Leadership Summit on December 4, 2025 under the theme Life. Leader. Legacy., hosting a slate of national and regional speakers and interactive sessions designed for emerging and established leaders. The summit was held at The Rink at Northland Church and had been expected to draw more than 300 attendees from Seminole County and the surrounding region.
Speakers covered a wide range of sectors relevant to local civic and economic life. The program featured Danni Adams known as Amapoundcake, Steve Anderson author of The Bezos Letters, Kenneth Clark of Vibrant Families Inc., Dr Elizabeth Betsy Dovec who is a bariatric surgeon and CEO of BodyByBariatrics, Jennifer Ford Knopf founder of the REED Charitable Foundation, Orlando Poet Laureate Camara Gaither, Altamonte Springs City Manager Frank Martz, Emmy winning director and producer Nick Nanton, Melissa Tony Stires who focuses on emotional intelligence and AI driven leadership, and meteorologist and author Amy Sweezey. Sessions included keynote presentations, interactive workshops, book signings and question and answer panels.
For the Seminole County economy the summit provides a modest but meaningful short term boost in visitor spending for local businesses and hospitality venues while serving longer term goals of workforce development and civic leadership. Conversations about AI informed leadership and emotional intelligence reflect broader trends in how local government and nonprofits may approach technology adoption and talent development in the coming years. The presence of a municipal chief administrative officer on the roster highlights the ongoing overlap between public sector priorities and community leadership training.

Organizers emphasized networking and applied skills as central outcomes, with book signings and direct interaction between speakers and participants intended to accelerate knowledge transfer into local organizations.
