Munson Healthcare Adds Six Advanced Practice Providers Across Northern Michigan
Munson Healthcare announced six new advanced practice providers joined regional clinics on December 8, 2025, expanding capacity across surgical care, primary care, oncology, and palliative services. The additions are intended to improve access, continuity of care, and preventive services for residents across Grand Traverse County and neighboring communities.

Munson Healthcare welcomed six nurse practitioners and nurse practitioners with advanced certification to multiple clinics across the system on December 8, 2025. The new providers will work in Cadillac, Boyne Area, Charlevoix, and on the hospice and palliative inpatient service, bringing additional capacity to surgical care, primary care, hematology and oncology, and end of life care.
Bobbie Crider, FNP BC, joined Munson Healthcare Cadillac Surgical Care. During her nursing career she has worked in telemetry, medical surgical, intensive care, rehab, and endoscopic care, and she pursued an advanced nursing degree to provide continuity and decision making for patients. She said, "I take a careful and thorough approach to care and value good communication and teamwork, making sure that patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment."
Celeste Frazee, NP, is now part of the Munson Healthcare Boyne Area Health Center team. Her practice emphasizes preventive care and lifestyle medicine with a focus on small consistent changes that produce lasting results. She said, "My greatest joy is helping patients heal, supporting them in managing their health, and empowering them through preventative care to stay well for the future."
Murphy Gillespie, NP, will serve patients at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hematology and Oncology. Her decision to enter medicine was shaped by positive experiences with earlier providers and a desire to offer the same support to her patients. She said, "I enjoy getting to connect with patients and treat them like they are my own family."

Jayme Larson, FNP BC, joins Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Primary Care with a focus on chronic disease prevention and a holistic approach to patient goals. She said, "I view the provider patient interaction as a key relationship in an individual’s health journey, and I look forward to working with patients to meet their health goals." Chandler Williams, NP, will work with the Munson Hospice and Palliative Medicine inpatient service and emphasized listening to patients to align treatment with what gives their lives meaning. She said, "I value my patients being heard and getting to know them, including what brings them joy or gives their lives meaning. This helps me create treatment plans that align with their personal goals."
For Grand Traverse County residents these hires mean more appointment options for routine care, chronic disease management, surgical follow up, cancer treatment support, and palliative services. Expanded primary care and preventive services can reduce strain on emergency departments and improve long term outcomes, particularly for rural and aging populations.
