New Ziggi's Coffee opens in Jasper's south side drive-thru

Jasper gets its first Ziggi's Coffee today, bringing a drive-thru-only beverage stop to the south side of town that aims to serve neighbors, commuters and students. Local business owners Aaron and Ashley Cochran, who moved to the Jasper area five years ago, are opening the location Friday, Jan. 13, to deepen their roots in the community and offer a quick option for breakfast and lunch.

The new store sits near Vincennes University Jasper Campus and Memorial Hospital, positioning it to capture morning traffic from students, hospital staff and weekday commuters. The Jasper Ziggi's will operate as a drive-thru-only location with hours designed for early shifts: Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include Ziggi's specialty coffee, signature chai drinks, dirty sodas, energy infusions, KidZone items and food options for breakfast and lunch.

For local customers this matters in several practical ways. The early start time and seven-day schedule provide a new morning option for hospital workers coming off night shifts and for students with early classes. A drive-thru format also fits commuter patterns on the south side, where a quick stop can shave minutes off the daily routine.
