Zillow refreshed its countywide sold listings page for Decatur County on December 6, 2025, delivering a dataset of 1,311 recently sold properties drawn from the local MLS feed. The page lists completed transactions across Parsons, Decaturville, Bath Springs and nearby communities, with sample entries posted by local brokers including 157 Percy King Road in Parsons sold for $180,000, 4052 Largo Road in Decaturville sold for $257,000 and 320 Wilkinstown Road in Parsons sold for $215,000. The listing display also includes multiple land parcels and residential sales of varying sizes and prices, and notes the data feed timestamp along with an as of note. Data is identified as provided by Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® and MLS GRID.
For Decatur County residents the update is more than a catalog of recent deals. A countywide sample of 1,311 closed transactions offers a robust snapshot of turnover and price discovery across a largely rural market. Buyers can use the detailed sale prices to benchmark offers and to assess which neighborhoods and parcel types are moving. Sellers and local brokers gain transparent comparables to set asking prices. Local tax assessors and municipal planners can use the transaction record to check valuation consistency and to identify concentrations of land sales that could presage development or changes in land use.
From a market perspective the mix of single family homes and parcels recorded on the page signals active transactions in both housing and land markets. That activity feeds into inventory measures, average days on market and median sale price calculations that investors, lenders and policymakers monitor for signs of tightening or loosening supply. Because the data is delivered through the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MLS GRID feed and is time stamped, it improves timeliness for journalists and analysts tracking short term shifts as well as for longer term trend analysis.

Limitations remain. A single public listing page is a snapshot not a full market study, and deeper analysis is required to infer trends in affordability, construction activity or household formation. Even so, the updated MLS powered page provides local stakeholders a practical tool for assessing current market conditions and for informing decisions on buying, selling, zoning and tax policy in Decatur County.
