UbiQD Holiday Party Celebrates Staff, Supports Downtown Los Alamos Businesses
UbiQD held its annual holiday party on Dec. 18 at Fuller Lodge, bringing employees and their families together for festivities that highlighted company culture and boosted local vendors. The event underscored UbiQD’s role as a community employer and showcased partnerships with downtown businesses that circulate spending within Los Alamos.
UbiQD hosted its 2025 holiday and Christmas party on Dec. 18 at historic Fuller Lodge in downtown Los Alamos, welcoming staff and family members to an evening of food, music and family activities. Founder and CEO Hunter McDaniel attended in an ugly Christmas sweater and held his daughter dressed as a tiny Christmas tree as he congratulated the team for another successful year and thanked employees for their dedication.
The company’s annual festivities included an ugly-sweater contest won by Production Operator Ahtumn Rains, children’s activities, and live music by The Tub. Dinner was catered by local Blue Window Bistro, and beverages were provided by Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op. The gathering served as a photo-ready display of company culture and family-friendly workplace practices, with images capturing employees, their children and the social atmosphere inside Fuller Lodge.
For Los Alamos residents, the event matters on multiple levels. UbiQD describes itself as an advanced materials company powering product innovations in agriculture, clean energy and security, and employee-focused events help retention and morale at firms that supply high-skill jobs to the region.
