Dubois County residents are gathering today for a long-standing community tradition: St. Isidore Catholic Parish’s Annual Social & Dinner at the St. Raphael Catholic Church grounds in Dubois, Indiana. The day begins with Mass at 9:30 a.m., followed by the dinner and festivities from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The menu features fried chicken and roast beef dinners (served with mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, coleslaw, and dessert) for $18. Seniors aged 65 and older may purchase the same dinner for $16. Children’s plates (age 10 & under) are priced at $8. Dining options include dine-in, carry-out through the front of the parish center, and drive-thru service via the cemetery entrance..

In addition, mock turtle soup will be available for drive-thru customers — $25 per gallon or $15 per half-gallon. The event also includes a hamburger and walking taco stand. Organized by parishioners under the leadership of Fr. Simon Natha, the social features a full slate of community activities: bingo, a vendor fair, country store, games for all ages, theme baskets, a quilt raffle, and a grand raffle drawing.

For those interested in spiritual reflection, Rosary Trail Processions are scheduled at 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00 p.m. Shuttle service is available on the grounds. The event takes place at 5564 E. St.
