PPA Tour Asia Kicks Off 2026 With Three Southeast Stops
PPA Tour Asia announced on January 6 that its 2026 season will open with events in Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Macao, giving players early chances to earn ranking points and prize money across Southeast Asia. The MB Hanoi Cup will be the tour’s first visit to Northern Vietnam and awards 1,000 PPA ranking points, with registration opening at the end of January.

The PPA Tour Asia announced its 2026 opening swing on January 6, laying out a three-stop sequence that brings professional pickleball to Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Macao between April and May. The schedule signals a push into key Southeast Asian markets and provides regional players with significant early-season opportunities to earn PPA ranking points and prize money.
The season will begin with the MB Hanoi Cup from April 1 to 5 at My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena. The event will be the PPA Tour Asia’s first visit to Northern Vietnam and will feature full competition across the pro draws. The MB Hanoi Cup is set to award 1,000 PPA ranking points, a meaningful haul for players seeking to climb the tour ladder. Registration for players is slated to open at the end of January.
The Kuala Lumpur Open follows from May 14 to 17 at 9Pickle, returning the tour to one of its most electric fanbases and venues. Kuala Lumpur staged a memorable men’s doubles final in 2025 between Eric Oncins and Tyson McGuffin versus Ben Johns and Christian Alshon in front of a highly energized crowd, and organizers hope to replicate that atmosphere in 2026. Fans in the Malaysia capital can expect another high-intensity weekend of matches and local engagement.
The opening trio concludes with the Macao Open from May 28 to 31. Macao’s stop is positioned as a showpiece that leans into the region’s hospitality and entertainment sectors, combining tournament play with spectator-focused events designed to draw both local and visiting audiences.

Logistics, registration windows, ticketing, and player information will be handled by PPA Tour Asia in coordination with local organizers. The tour’s social channels and the official site will carry updates on entry deadlines and ticket sales. For players, the early-season schedule offers regionally concentrated chances to collect ranking points without multiple long-haul trips, while local venues stand to benefit from increased foot traffic and visibility.
Community organizers, venue operators, and fans in Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Macao should note the dates now and monitor PPA Tour Asia channels for registration and ticketing details as they are released at the end of January and in the weeks that follow.
