Vietnam's Lý Hoàng Nam Opens New Pickleball Club in Bình Tân
Lý Hoàng Nam, PPA Tour Asia No. 2 and Hangzhou Open 2025 Men’s Singles champion, opened the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club on January 7 in Hương Lộ 2, Quận Bình Tân. The facility brings a professional, all-in-one training and event venue to the western part of Ho Chi Minh City, promising community access to high-quality courts, coaching, recovery and event space.

Lý Hoàng Nam officially opened the Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club on January 7, delivering a purpose-built facility for pickleball and broader athletic needs in Bình Tân. The new complex is intended to give players access to professional-grade training and amenities without travelling into the city centre, a practical addition for families and competitive players based west of Ho Chi Minh City.
The club’s announcement explained Ly “wanted to create a sports space that not only carries his name, but also reflects the values he pursues in training: meticulousness, professionalism, and a serious commitment to sport.” Those values shaped the facility’s design and programming, the club said, reflecting his “desire to make a long-term contribution to the community and to create a place where everyone can play sports under the best possible conditions.”
Designed as an integrated model, the venue is not only a place to play but a one-stop sports hub. “Lý Hoàng Nam Sport Club is a sports space inspired by Nam’s own experience as an athlete. It is an all-in-one integrated model. Players can compete in pickleball, train their fitness, recover their bodies, shop for equipment, and relax all in the same space. Nam wants all the needs of sports players to be fully met in one location,” the club said.
Ly, still relatively new to high-quality sports ecosystems despite his recent international success, said he built the club to bring facilities closer to local players. He “wants to bring a standard training space closer to players in the western part of the city, so people don’t have to go into the city centre but can still experience facilities and services equivalent to those of professional athletes.” That local access reduces travel time for weekend players, junior programs and adult leagues, and should increase opportunities for regular practice and structured development.

To support athlete development and events, the facility will rely on a qualified team to run clubs and classes “to create a structured and serious training environment.” While the club aims to serve serious players targeting elite performance, it will welcome participants at all skill levels, from newcomers to tournament contenders.
Ly also framed the venue as an event-ready space, positioning it to be “the first place that event organisers, clubs, and sports brands think of when they need a professional venue.” The club said it is ready to collaborate on hosting tournaments, running programs and building a healthy sports environment that adds shared value to the local pickleball community.
The opening caps a busy offseason for Ly, who recently announced the Pickle All-Stars crossover with Vietnam’s Huong Giang, underscoring his dual focus on competitive play and grassroots growth. For players in Bình Tân and surrounding districts, the new club offers a close-to-home option for training, recovery and competition.
