Royse City Chamber launches health summit boosting community wellness

Royse City took a step toward healthier New Year’s goals on Jan. 10, 2026, when the Royse City Chamber hosted its inaugural Health & Wellness Summit at the Royse City ISD Event Center. Presented by Royse City Emergency Hospital, the one-day event brought local health providers, experts and community organizations together for interactive sessions and practical resources.

The summit featured breakout sessions led by local experts and workshops covering fitness, nutrition, mental health and personal finance. Attendees moved between demonstrations and hands-on activities, visited a local health vendor market and accessed free screenings and community resources meant to lower barriers to care. Organizers designed the program as an interactive experience with door prizes and giveaways to encourage participation.

Local providers and small vendors used the event to showcase services and connect with neighbors. The vendor market offered a chance for Rockwall County businesses and nonprofits to meet residents face to face, discuss preventive care options and distribute information about ongoing programs.
