Seattle Cider welcomes Stoup Brewing, turns taproom into December satellite
Seattle Cider Company named Stoup Brewing as the featured brewery for December, expanding Stoup beers across multiple taps and hosting weekly tasting flights, giveaways, and staff meetups. The collaboration emphasizes community support and broadens access to Stoup seasonal and limited releases for Seattle area drinkers.

Seattle Cider Company opened December with a high profile collaboration, naming Stoup Brewing the December featured brewery at the Seattle Cider Taproom. The partnership began on December 1, and culminates today with a Meet the Team event from 4 to 8 PM that invites guests to connect with staff from both Seattle Cider and Stoup Brewing.
The collaboration places Stoup core favorites, seasonal specialties, and limited releases on rotating taps in the taproom, giving patrons a chance to sample beers not often poured outside Stoup locations in Ballard, Capitol Hill, and Kenmore. Seattle Cider will also roll out a new themed tasting flight each week to spotlight different styles, alongside giveaways and other promotions aimed at encouraging exploration.
“Seattle’s craft beverage culture is built on connection, creativity, and supporting one another,” said Felix Madrid, Seattle Cider General Manager. “We’ve always believed that community is at the core of great cider and great beer, and we’re committed to having a taproom that celebrates both. Our taproom will be like a satellite taproom for Stoup throughout December.”
The featured brewery program follows the closure of sibling brewery Two Beers Brewing in early 2024, a shift that left Seattle Cider Taproom looking for ways to keep beer front and center. By hosting rotating brewery spotlights, Seattle Cider aims to sustain variety for regulars and attract new visitors who want to sample a wider range of Northwest craft beverage offerings in one neighborhood setting.

“We’re thrilled to take part in this joint effort,” said Lara Zahaba, Owner, Stoup Brewing. “Collaborations like this remind us why the PNW craft beverage community is so special; we show up for each other.”
Practical details for visitors include the Meet the Team session today from 4 to 8 PM and weekly tasting flights all month. A full schedule of events and rotating beer features is posted at seattlecidercompany.com/taproom and on social channels @SeattleCiderTaproom and @StoupBrewing. The arrangement gives cider fans and beer drinkers alike more reasons to visit the taproom this month, and strengthens local ties within the Northwest craft beverage scene.
